Most modern e-mail clients (the programs you use to read your e-mail) allow automatic handling of the mail based on the sender's address, the subject line, or other characteristics. You can choose whether the chosen e-mail is deleted, is saved to a folder, or a number of other options.
The information below is a brief outline of the steps required to automatically delete e-mail containing the phrase "***SPAM***" in the subject line.
Starting from the "Tools" menu, select:
Tools > Message Rules > Mail Rules > New
Check "Where the Subject line contains specific words"
Check "Delete it from server"
Click On "contains specific words"
Type ***SPAM*** into the box at the top
Click on the <Add> button
Click on <OK> three times to close the three windows
Starting from the "Tools" menu, select:
Tools > Rules Wizard > New
Select "Check messages when they arrive"
Click on <Next>
Check "with specific words in the subject"
Click on "specific words" in the lower window
Type ***SPAM*** into the box at the top
Click on the <Add> button
Click on <OK>
Click on <Next>
Check "Delete it"
Click on <Finish>
Click on <OK>
Inbox > Edit > Message Filters > New
Give your filter a name
Click on "Match any of the following"
Select "the <subject> of the message <contains> <***SPAM***>"
Select "then <Delete>"
Click on <OK>
Click on <OK>
