6809 Ordering Information


Part numbers for the 6809 Control Module take the form "MCHxy", where "x" and "y" are replaced by the appropriate digits:

x=0---No RAM (4 EPROM sockets)
x=1---2K of RAM (1 2Kx8, 3 EPROM sockets)
x=2---4K of RAM (2 2Kx8, 2 EPROM sockets)
x=3---6K of RAM (3 2Kx8, 1 EPROM socket)
x=4---8K of RAM (1 8Kx8, 3 EPROM sockets)
x=5---16K of RAM (2 8Kx8, 2 EPROM sockets)
x=6---24K of RAM (3 8Kx8, 1 EPROM socket)

x=8---56K of RAM (8K reserved for EPROM, has 2 32Kx8 RAM, 2 EPROM sockets)

Memory sites (there are four on the board) are socketed for EPROM if not occupied by RAM. Unless otherwise specified, EPROM sockets are strapped to be used with both 2732 and 2764 EPROMs. Strapping for 27128 or 27256 must be done at time of manufacture and may require special programming to provide a non-standard memory map.

Please request the 6809 be socketed if you plan to use an in-circuit emulator which requires removing the 6809 (the processor is normally soldered to the board).
