Wintek Personal Computer Software and Year 2000 Compliance

HiWIRE: Version 2.3r2 has been carefully examined and tested and found to be fully Y2K-compliant.

smARTWORK: Version 1.4r7 is NOT fully Y2K-compliant. Specifically, after 1999, DOT.EXE incorrectly dates the artwork printout. 2000 is displayed as 100, 2001 as 101, etc. Otherwise the functionality of the program is unimpaired.

C Compiler, Macro Assembler and Linker--Except for the Macro Assemblers (Version 3.1r0 of AO.EXE, A1.EXE, A5.EXE, A9.EXE and A11.EXE), there is no date-sensitive code in this package. The assemblers are NOT fully Y2K-compliant. Specifically, after 1999, they will incorrectly print the date at the top of their listing. 2000 is displayed as 100, 2001 as 101, etc. Otherwise the functionality of the program is unimpaired.

Earlier versions of these programs HAVE NOT BEEN CHECKED. Although it seems likely earlier versions will exhibit similar (mis)behavior, Wintek cannot provide similar assurances for these obsolete predecessors.
